kaRANbola sa Cebu

WHEN: September 20, 2013

WHERE: Voyager Internet Café, Sanciangko branch

Sanciangko Street, Cebu City

Activities:

Tournament
How to join the tournament:

Registration fee of Php 250.00 per team
Team will get 200 peso worth of LU load
Php 50 will be used for computer rental
Only 8 Teams will be accommodated, “First Come First Served” basis


Tournament Mechanics:

STADIUM CHANNEL 0 (PK)
Format:

The tournament will be hosted on a Special Map (Stadium).
All players are required to save with the nurse at the Special Map (Stadium) upon arrival. Players who fail to change their save point prior to the match cannot rejoin the match until the next round.
Each round will last for a maximum of Seven (7) Minutes.
All matches will be 5 VS 5 Team
Each team will be invited by their respective facilitator to a party to serve as spectators and to oversee each round.
In the event that the game lasts for about 7 minutes then the facilitator will have the right to stop the match and the team with the highest kill will win the round.
If in case the game lasts for about 7 minutes and both teams have the same number of kills or score in the said round there will be one on one knockout between the team captains.
A thirty (30) second period will be given after each round for the regroup phase of both teams.
After the 30 second period is up, all participants have to be in their respective boxes. If there are players that aren’t in their respective boxes after the 30 second period, the player that is not present in their box will not be allowed to join that round.
Players are required to have their hands raised off the keyboard and mouse if they are killed in.
Eliminations match ups will be drawn randomly.
Rules:

The match will be restarted if a participant gets disconnected due to system/hardware glitches provided that the character of the participant is still alive before the disconnection occurred.
Only the marshals are allowed to declare that a match will be restarted.
The match will not be halted for reasons such as lag, etc. It is the player’s responsibility to check their computer before the match starts.
If in case a match is restarted for any reason, the previous scores for the competition will be retained. (except for changing of schools due to school wars)
Any participant found intentionally disconnecting from the game will give the opposing team a point for that match
Any team who is not present at the competition when they are called will be allotted three minutes to show up for the match or they will be disqualified from the competition.
Players are not allowed to go down the stadium before and during the match. Failure to comply will result in their team losing that round.
Players are required to wait for the GM’s Go Signal.
Characters who died for that round and have re-spawned near the nurse will not be allowed to rejoin the match nor go up the stadium until that round is over.
Bringing/Changing of peripherals is not allowed.
Once the match has started, players are not allowed to leave or go down the stadium match area.
Players may heal themselves at the nurse once every round is over, but not during the match.
If both teams are using the same school in a match and that school wins school wars simultaneously, the match will not be stopped as both teams will have the school buff.
If the teams in a match are using different schools and a participating team’s school wins the school wars, the match will be restarted, the scores will be reset and the team with the school that wins school wars will have to change the school they’re using.
Scoring:

Aside from violation-awarded points, the main standard of scoring will be as follows: after each round, the team with the most members left standing will award that corresponding team with one (1) point.
Setup:

Players will have 5 minutes to setup their characters. The tournament committee will not wait for anyone after the 5 minutes are up
First match will start after 5 minute setup are up
Procedure:

Players will then have to wait for the countdown of the facilitator before they can begin the match

Item Restrictions
Participants are allowed only to use the items/equipment present in the inventory of the character they are using. Players are not allowed to withdraw any item from the item bank as well as use any item not assigned by the organizers to the character they are using. Use of items other than those assigned to the accounts will result in the team losing each round where the specific item was used.
Skill Restrictions
The participants are allowed to use only the skills assigned by the organizers to their characters. Use of skills not assigned to the character will result to an automatic disqualification of the team on the specific round that the skill was used.

The Assassins have always watched the students of Mystic Peak, Phoenix, and Sacred Gate from afar. Now, in their inconceivable agendas, they have revealed themselves to all the factions, and even sent envoys to teach and spread the art of sinister killing.
With their talons engulfing all of the schools, who knows what chaos the Assassins will wreak? Will they be a disciplining force, or a malevolent influence in the already tumultuous war between schools? Only the Assassins know, and perhaps the only way to know is to join them in the darkness, where death resides, silent and waiting.
